Jena Six

The Jena case does not surprise me, even dough many years have passed since segregation was abolished by law does not mean everybody listens and follows it. There is still segregation and racism against blacks; but nowadays is not only blacks but against any minorities living in the United States or in any part of the world. We see and hear some things (not everything, only what it is allowed to be seen) that happen in the U.S. but there is racism all over the world, and even slavery. Yes in the U.S. there is slavery, but you don’t hear much about that because of course, it will cause an immense commotion. There are many horrible things happening all around the world but yet nobody seems to care or maybe is also because we are not informed and we are kept ignorant. This is nothing new because it has happened before and is still happening today, people will never change the way they think, especially those who are born or has been raised in a racist environment. People will always be segregated and against each other do to the fact that “we are not all equal”, and we will never be because as humans and as imperfect as we are, we are always going to try to be better and superior than others. Unless we all (by all I mean the entire world) agree that we are all equal segregation and racism will never end.
